Who We Are The Battle With CF Three men, each with a different relationship to CF, shared a wonderful vision: what if there were a summer camp where CF kids can come rest by the sea shore, breathe the lovely salt-water air, get some exercise, surround themselves with other attendees who share their struggles, and learn from positive CF role models who could share knowledge for how to better their lives – at no cost to their families? People with CF fight everyday to navigate life with the complications it causes. We strive to match their bravery and valor by fighting back in every way we can: in honor of their bravery, every piece of SSSC is run by volunteers – the Board, the guest speakers, the counselors, everyone.
We’ve taken it a step even further… attendees and their families can come and enjoy the week-long camp experience free of charge.
We simply could not honor the legacy of the men, women, and children who have suffered from CF over the years, or provide the caring experience for those in the midst of their own battles, without the tremendous support of all our generous donors, including you.
